Due to COVID-19, all clinical services are consolidated in one clinic, and thus there is no longer a separate men/trans and women/trans clinic. Patients of all genders and sexualities are seen in every clinic.
Currently, The Hassle Free Clinic is offering in-person care, by appointment only, Monday to Friday 11 am – 4 pm and Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm.
Patients who have symptoms (i.e. pain, rash, discharge from the penis/vagina/anus, ulcers, etc), requesting routine STI testing, vaccinations, HPV/Molluscum treatments AND/OR who require refills of contraceptives AND/OR who need emergency contraceptive (i.e. Plan B),
Patients who answer NO to all our respiratory illness screening questions
Our respiratory illness screening questions are:
1 – Do you have cough, fever, sore throat, or shortness of breath?
2 – Have you travelled abroad in the last 14 days?
3 – Have you been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who is a person under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19?
4 – Have you been in contact with anyone who has respiratory symptoms and who has travelled abroad in the last 14 days?
If you are interested in booking an in-person appointment, please contact the clinic at 416-922-0566 between 11 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am until 2 pm on Saturdays to be screened by phone and provided with an appointment.
Please note: If you develop respiratory illness symptoms (such as cough, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath) OR if you travel outside Canada within 14 days of your appointment OR if you come into contact with a PUI for COVID-19 or a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 before your appointment time OR if you are newly in contact with someone who has respiratory symptoms and who has travelled abroad in the last 14 days, you MUST notify the clinic so your appointment can be modified.
PLEASE NOTE: to ensure patient safety, we are allowing only a maximum amount of six (6) people into the waiting room at a time. Please show up at the EXACT time of your appointment and not any earlier, as you will not be let in. For patients who are late, we might need to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
It is MANDATORY to wear a face mask, or any face covering if you are coming to Hassle Free (under the Mandatory Mask or Face Covering Bylaw). Outside the clinic door, a staff member will greet you in full droplet personal-protective equipment and will screen you again with our respiratory illness screening questions and take your temperature. If you screen negative again to our respiratory screen, and have no fever, you will be allowed into clinic to register at the front desk. If you screen positive to our respiratory screen or if you have a fever, unfortunately you will not be allowed into clinic – you will be given access to resources about COVID-19, directed to telehealth or the nearest COVID-19 centre, and your options for alternative STI care will be discussed.
