Our Program & Services
Women’s Clinic currently offers services by booked appointment. The clinic is closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
The emergency contraceptive pill (ECP) or “morning-after pill” is available anytime the women’s clinic is open. You do not need to call first to make an appointment, but we prefer it when you do.
Getting test results
We do not release results over email. With client’s permission, we may communicate via email for client to get in touch with Hassle Free Clinic.
Doctors’ services include:
Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
Genital wart treatments
Molluscum treatments
Birth control prescriptions and renewals
Post abortion check ups
Pap tests (see new guidelines for pap screening)
Other gynecological–related concerns
Counsellor services include:
Anonymous HIV testing (rapid or standard) with pre and post test counselling
Birth control methods and hormonal contraceptive (patch, pill, ring, Depo Provera) for patients starting for the first time, or re-starting
Intrauterine device and intrauterine system (IUD and IUS) counselling
STI Counselling
Pregnancy testing, decision counselling and abortion referrals
Sexual assault/Domestic violence support and resource referral
Counselling and support for HIV+ women
Sexuality/Psychosocial assessment and referral
Emergency Contraceptives
Emergency “one-pack” of hormonal birth control, if you were prescribed birth control from Hassle Free
Vaccines: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Gardasil. Please do NOT come to the Clinic during our last hour for vaccination
Health Promotion/Nursing Clinic for Women living with HIV
Held at PWA, 163 Queen St E 2nd floor (in collaboration with PWA & Casey House).
Drop in sessions the first and third Wednesday of each month from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Expert led discussions over a hot meal
Childcare subsidy and tokens available for eligible individuals
