Q: What is Hassle Free Clinic doing to prevent community spread of COVID-19?

The Hassle Free Clinic is dedicated to the safety of its patients, staff, and volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic and is supporting clinical activities that maintain our essential services while reducing the likelihood of COVID-19 spread. We have taken the following measures to ensure patient care is maintained and patient and staff safety is a priority:

  1. It is MANDATORY to wear a face mask, or any face covering if you are coming to Hassle Free (under The Mandatory Mask or Face Covering Bylaw)

  2. To ensure patient safety, we are allowing only a maximum amount of six (6) people into the waiting room at a time.

  3. Reduced clinic services and hours which reduces patient-patient and patient-staff proximity and interactions

  4. Screening for respiratory illness and fever on the phone and at the door of the clinic; only those who screen negative to all our questions and who have no fever will be allowed into clinic

  5. Twice daily full clinic cleaning with antiviral products

  6. Cleaning of examination rooms between every patient with antiviral products

  7. All staff are required to wear loop surgical masks in all patient areas

Q: Is it safe to come to Hassle Free Clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic?

The best way to prevent yourself from being infected with COVID-19 is to avoid all non-essential travel/outings from your home, avoid social gatherings, practice social distancing, practice proper hand hygiene, avoid touching your face, and cleanse all home and vehicle surfaces with an antiviral cleanser on a regular basis. By walking/commuting/driving to Hassle Free Clinic and maintaining your distance from others, you have a very low risk of contracting the virus. Hassle Free Clinic, with its enhanced cleaning and distancing policies in place, is also a fairly low risk environment for contracting COVID-19. Despite this, there is always a risk for contracting COVID-19 when you are exposed to others/leave your home. If you meet our in-person eligibility criteria, we have deemed your visit essential and likely to be low risk of contracting/transmitting COVID-19, but the ultimate decision to attend the clinic is up to you.
